What is Wilson’s Badminton Club?
Wilson’s Badminton Club is a community-focused club for adult team players of all skill levels who enjoy playing badminton regularly. The club is proudly registered with Badminton England.

Who can join the club?
Anyone aged 18 or over is welcome to join the club.

Where is the club located?
All sessions take place at: Wilson’s School, Sports Hall & Gym, Mollison Drive, Wallington, Surrey, SM6 9JW

Is there any membership fee to join the club?
Membership to our club is FREE.

When are courts available?
Courts are available on:

• Saturdays: 7:30 am – 8:30 am

• Wednesdays: 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Courts operate between July and April (10 months each year). Please note that courts are unavailable in May and June due to GCSE and A-Level exams being held in the Sports Hall.

How long can we play for?
Each court booking is for 1 hour (e.g. 7:30 am – 8:30 am). Teams play for 55 minutes, allowing a 5-minute handover time between sessions.

How much does it cost to book a court?
Courts cost £17 per hour. Bookings must be paid in advance for the full school term (e.g. £170 for a 10-week term) to secure your court.

How can I book a court?
Please contact us via our website to express your interest. We’ll confirm court availability and send payment details to complete your booking.

Can I drop in to play occasionally?
We don’t offer ad-hoc drop-ins. However, if you know an existing team that plays regularly, you can request to join them on an occasional basis.

Do we need to bring our own equipment?
Yes, players must bring their own rackets and shuttlecocks. Both feather and plastic shuttlecocks are acceptable.

Is there parking available?
Yes, free parking is available on-site for all club members and visitors.

Can beginners join, or do we need to be an established team?
All teams are welcome, regardless of experience level. If you’re an individual looking to join, we may be able to connect you with a team that has space.

Are there any tournaments or events?
Wilson’s PFA organises two badminton tournaments each year which are usually held in Winter and Spring. Please visit www.wilsonspfa.org for more information.

How do we renew our membership?
Teams can join at any time during the year. Memberships can be renewed at the end of your membership year to continue playing.

Is coaching or training available?
Currently, we do not offer coaching or training sessions. However, keep an eye out for future opportunities as we plan to expand our offerings.

The club is managed by Wilson's PFA's Chair, Nina Guha.
